  3. Release the button and turn your key to the “Off” position. Repeat this process two more times.
  4. Turn your key to the “On” position and hold the “LOCK” button for one second again. Wait for your car doors to lock and unlock automatically. Once the locks have cycled, your Honda is in remote programming mode.
  5. Again, hold the “LOCK” button for one second. Once the locks cycle, your Honda key fob is successfully paired with your vehicle. Don’t forget to repeat the process with additional fobs that may need programming.
  6. Exit the remote programming mode by turning your key to the “Off” position and removing it from the ignition.
