LED headlights offer a piercing look from the front. Sweeping lines curve down the sides of this sedan for a sleek, unique style that turns heads as you drive by. Every Insight is powered by the same 1.5-liter inline four-cylinder engine with dual overhead cams and 16 valves. Alone, this engine puts out 107 horsepower and 97 pound-feet of torque. The Insight uses an Atkinson-Cycle Synchronous Permanent Magnet Electric Motor with a lithium-ion battery.
This electric motor delivers 129 horsepower and 197 pound-feet of torque. When combined with the gasoline engine, it gets a total system horsepower of 151.5.

Slipping into the driver’s seat of the Honda Insight, you are welcomed in comfort. Ergonomic seats cradle you while all the controls are at your fingertips. Illuminated steering wheel controls add extra convenience for night driving.
