Honda has introduced the 2020 Insight, and hybrid lovers are taking notice. If you’re in the market for an efficient, stylish sedan, the Insight is a must-drive. Here’s a look at some of the best features on the 2020 Insight.
-
Stylish Exterior
LED headlights offer a piercing look from the front. Sweeping lines curve down the sides of this sedan for a sleek, unique style that turns heads as you drive by. Sophisticated style marks this sedan as it rolls by on alloy wheels. LED taillights highlight the performance-designed rear end, disappearing quickly as the Insight speeds away.
Three trims to choose from give you plenty of options. The LX is the base model. It comes with features such as 16-inch alloy wheels. The EX adds additional options to interior technology, and the Touring model comes with side mirrors with LED turn indicators, LED fog lamps, and rain-sensing windshield wipers.

Hybrid Power
Every Insight is powered by the same 1.5-liter inline four-cylinder engine with dual overhead cams and 16 valves. Alone, this engine puts out 107 horsepower and 97 pound-feet of torque. The Insight uses an Atkinson-Cycle Synchronous Permanent Magnet Electric Motor with a lithium-ion battery.
This electric motor delivers 129 horsepower and 197 pound-feet of torque. When combined with the gasoline engine, it gets a total system horsepower of 151.5.

Comfort and Convenience
Slipping into the driver’s seat of the Honda Insight, you are welcomed in comfort. Ergonomic seats cradle you while all the controls are at your fingertips. Illuminated steering wheel controls add extra convenience for night driving.
Honda’s automatic climate climate control system is standard on the LX and EX models, while the Touring offers a dual climate control system for enhanced comfort. The Touring trim also comes with heated, leather-trimmed seats, and a heated, leather-wrapped steering wheel. Ambient lighting adds to the level of sophistication.
The driver’s seat is eight-way power-adjustable with memory, and the passenger seat is a four-way power-adjustable. Even the steering wheel is telescoping with a tilt function for the perfect ergonomic ride.

Driver Assist Features
Every Honda Insight comes standard with Honda Sensing, a suite of driver assist features designed to help you travel safer on the roads. A collision mitigation braking system uses advanced radar technology to monitor the traffic ahead. If it senses a collision is unavoidable, it will apply the brakes to avoid or minimize a potential collision.
Honda’s road departure mitigation system uses similar technology to monitor your progress within marked lanes. If the system detects a drift, it will alert you with audio and visual cues before providing gentle steering correction to help you back into your lane. It can even help you avoid leaving the road entirely.
The adaptive cruise control system allows you to maintain a preset speed and distance from the vehicle ahead. It can slow you down to a complete stop if necessary and then return to your preset speed automatically.
The new Insight is full of surprises. Come test drive one today and find out which features you’ll love most on your new Honda.
