The Honda Pilot midsize SUV is back for 2022, designed from the ground up to give your Richmond Hill a serious upgrade! The new Honda Pilot has a lot to offer, including powerful performance specs, a spacious interior cabin, and plenty of next-generation technology inside and out. One of the highlights of this midsize SUV is its excellent fuel economy–up to 20 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway for the 2WD Honda Pilot Sport*! However, the fuel economy varies slightly depending on which trim level and drivetrain you choose. The team at Southern Motors Honda has more information on the Honda Pilot fuel economy in the guide below.

2022 Honda Pilot: Fuel Economy By Trim Level

The Honda Pilot MPG ratings are made possible by a powerful 3.5L V6 engine, generating 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque on the Pooler roads. The Honda Pilot also features an impressive 19.5-gallon fuel tank so you can earn serious fuel savings! Your fuel economy will depend on which trim level you choose, as well as if you opt for standard two-wheel drive or available all-wheel drive. Here are the details:

  • Honda Pilot Sport, EX-L, Special Edition, and Touring (2WD): 20 mpg city / 27 mpg highway*
  • Honda Pilot Sport, EX-L, Special Edition, Touring, Elite, and Black Edition (AWD): 19 mpg city / 26 mpg highway*
  • Honda Pilot TrailSport (AWD): 19 mpg city / 25 mpg highway*

2022 Honda Pilot: Innovative Technology Features

Impressive fuel economy is only the beginning! The Honda Pilot comes with a wide variety of advanced technology inside the cabin to make your Pooler rides safer, smoother, and more convenient than ever. Here are some of our favorites:

  • Eco Assist: Maximize your fuel efficiency with this handy feature, which will inform you of the status of your fuel usage on the road.
  • HondaLink: Stay up to date with everything involving your Honda model’s fuel range, service schedule and more – whether you’re inside your car or not!
  • Intelligent Traction Management: This system is designed to optimize your ride no matter what kind of conditions you’re driving in, from mud to snow to sand.
  • All-Wheel Drive: The AWD drivetrain helps you maximize traction on the road no matter the weather or terrain.
